We had the Third AIU Hill Climb Competition!

On Saturday, April 26, we held the third AIU Hill Climbing Competition on Tsubakidai Hill Road, which connects the AIU campus to the outside world.

Five cyclists competed under the same rules as last time: i.e. the number of trips to be made back and forth on Tsubakidai Hill Road.

Here are the results:

Senior Division (over 30 years old)	Winner	DE AMYAND, Jack	8 trips
Women’s Division	Winner	Nodoka Kato	7 trips

The 4th competition is scheduled on September 27, 2025. We look forward to the participation of many students and faculty/staff.

I’m glad to see the 3rd round of the AIU Hill Competitions that started last year. The weather forecast was alarming, but we managed to avoid rain and the event went on as planned. I would like to thank the participants and all those who helped with the closing and use of the road.
