Video Tour of the Nakajima Library
Recently named in honor of AIU’s founder and first President, the Late Dr. Mineo Nakajima, AIU’s library is a highlight of the university- both for its visual splendor, as seen in the video above, and for what it symbolizes to the university.
Open to students 24/7, a rarity in Japan, the library symbolizes AIU’s commitment to providing a round-the-clock international liberal arts learning environment. Arranged throughout the collection of 70,000+ books and 180+ journals are reading stations with various temperature, lighting, and chair height settings, so that each student can find their ideal study environment.
