Pre-arrival Check List
The Special Program (Summer Program and J-CIP:A) fee does NOT include insurance (including Japanese National Health Insurance). All participants are required to purchase comprehensive overseas travel insurance BEFORE departing from their home country to cover a wide range of expenses in case of disease, hospitalization, repatriation, etc., providing coverage from the flight to Japan through to return to their country of origin or next destination. An example of basic overseas travel insurance coverage is given in the table below.
